Our Services
Comprehensive Eye Exams

We perform eye exams on patients from the age of 3 months to 100 years old. During our exam we are not only checking if your nearsighted or farsighted but also looking for systemic disease that can effect your eyes, such as: diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid conditions, arthritis, and high cholesterol. They say the eyes are the window to your soul, well they definitely can be the window to your health!
Pediatric Exams

We see infants as young as 3 months, toddlers, and young children. We have the appropriate equipment to test every type of patient. Including non verbal patients! Our testing is concentrating on reading ability, focusing ability and eye teaming ability. We thoroughly screen for Strabismus (lazy eye), Amblyopia (decreased vision in one eye), and early need for glasses (high refractive error).
Technology

We are a technology driven practice and believe in using the most up to date equipment and techniques to deliver the best results. Here is a short list of current equipment used by our practice.
Optomap Retinal Mapping ( click here for more info)
Gives eye care professionals a much larger view (200 degrees) of the back of your eye – your retina – than conventional eye exam equipment. The images can be taken without dilating the pupils – a very common procedure which is uncomfortable and inconvenient for many people these images permanent records for future comparison which can greatly help aid in the diagnosis of common eye diseases such as glaucoma and macular degeneration.
Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Electronic medical records have been proven in studies to decrease medical errors, increase quality of care, reduce operational cost and paper use. Our practice has been on EMR technology since January 2008.
Acuity Pro Eye Charts
With built in randomization there is no more letter memorization of our computer driven eye charts. We test vision not memory! This allows a much more accurate prescription results.
Humphrey Visual Field Testing
This is performed on every capable patient at our practice. Automated field testing checks for glaucoma, cataracts and even strokes. Some practices charge an additional fee for this test. At our office this is a part of our normal eye exam testing.
